A substantial portion of Mr. Hart’s practice consists of representing individuals and corporations in the defense and prosecution of civil lawsuits as well as the defense of criminal actions in both State and Federal Courts. He has represented numerous businesses and individuals, including insurance companies, large corporations, construction firms, and architectural firms. He actively practices before both Vermont and New York courts in the following areas:

Mr. Hart was born in Manchester, Vermont and raised in Rutland, Vermont. After graduating from Rutland High School in 1989, Mr. Hart enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he participated in Operation Sharp Edge in Liberia and Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Mr. Hart earned his B.A. degree, from Castleton State College in 1998 and his J.D. Degree from Albany Law School, Union University in 2001. While attending law school, Mr. Hart clerked for the New York State Office of Appointments, Governor Pataki and the New York State District Attorney’s Office, Washington County, as well as serving with distinction in U.S. Army Reserve, Army Judge Advocate General, 7th Legal Support Organization.
